Nelson holds a Bachelors in Development Studies from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute. He is currently finalizing his Masters in Economic Growth and Development and has attained several certificate training in Project Planning and Management, Public-Private Partnership role in increasing service delivery, Climate Smart Agriculture, FACT Methodology, Build your Business, Sales and Marketing among others.
Nelson has coordinated the implementation of various project activities and initiated developmental interventions focused on building capacities and improving livelihoods of vulnerable women, children, youth and people living with disabilities with services such as; gender and HIV/AIDS awareness training, financial services training using the Village Saving and Loans Association (VSLA) methodology, business incubation, lobby and advocacy, climate-resilient agroecosystem model, market linkages and agricultural value chain development.
Nelson is interested in adding a brick to the development of the agricultural sector by building capacity, picking lessons and experiences around the world where many agricultural sectoral challenges have been overcome and creating sustainable incomes and improving the welfare of all the citizens.
